The annual plenary meeting of U.S. consular coordination gave me an opportunity to address those who, on a daily basis, are in contact with our compatriots overseas. In Washington DC, I spoke to all the consuls and presidents Com.It.Es. Of the importance of services to our community and businesses. Consulates are the first port of call for Italian entrepreneurs and must be organized and prepared to support them. We need to help our diplomatic structures modernize, and it is important that Italian citizens living abroad register for Aire: it is essential but more importantly it is a law of the state. I found a group ready to work and motivated to change things for our community. Gov. Meloni will support this project and see to it that it is implemented.
