The Niaf Gala, the rich Italian-American foundation of Washington D.C., organized an evening in honour of the Tuscany Region. Famous names presented themselves, Mike Pompeo, former Secretary of State during the Trump government, Deana Martin, Fabrizio Michele, the Consul of Italy in New York, Pietro Di Tillio, NASA astronaut, and finally Joseph Del Raso, director of the Gala and former president of the Niaf.
During the dinner prepared by chef Giada De Laurentis, grandson of the well-known film producer, the Leonardo Da Vinci Award was celebrated with 10 personalities from Abruzzo and Ornella Barra.
Other important people also attended the dinner: Paolo Scaroni, president of A.C. Milan, the Honorable Andrea Di Giuseppe, newly elected to the Italian Parliament in the North/Central America constituency, Eugenio Giani, governor of the Tuscany Region, and also the director of Campari America, Ugo Fiorenzo.
The evening ended with a thank you to Niaf by Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni.
