Since 1992, millions of our compatriots around the world have lost their citizenship, practically forced to choose that of the country where they lived and worked (in those days it was not possible to have dual passports). Today, several newspapers interviewed me about my bill to right a wrong that has been going on for 30 years and give back that citizenship that, in countries like Venezuela, can make the difference between life and death.
