Today in Rome at the Farnesina, for the Conference of Italian Consuls Around the World, with representatives of Italian communities abroad, whom our President of the Republic Sergio Mattarella recalled as much as they constitute “a human and professional heritage that enhances Italy’s presence around the world and strengthens bonds between peoples”.
The sessions, introduced by the Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation Antonio Tajani and the Minister of the Interior Matteo Piantedosi, are the main event dedicated to the Italian consular network and assistance for the more than 7 million Italian citizens residing abroad.
After 8 years, since 2018, this fundamental moment begins again to celebrate the daily commitment of those who accompany their compatriots in their daily lives abroad
guaranteeing rights, assistance, protection and proximity.
There are only Italian citizens of Serie A and today we are here to remember that!
