The award for “Italian excellence abroad” to John Elkann? But really?
Such a shame.
Rewarding as “excellence” those who have for years put Italy and the Italians at the bottom of Stellantis’ list of interests is a masterpiece of hypocrisy.
As I said on La Verità, we are talking about someone who promises the Giga-Factory in Termoli and then fills the Italian plants with cuts, integration cash and talk.
Meanwhile they’re opening the doors to China, after collecting public subsidies in Palate. Compliments: A brilliant strategy… For those who want to close factories, don’t open them.
And then there is the CGIL, always ready to organize general strikes — against a government that, for the first time, is doing exactly what it promised… And that’s exactly why they don’t give it peace!
The same ones who find time for ridiculous flotries and symbolic manifestations, but who remained in religious silence when Stellantis sent thousands of Italian families into poverty.
Where were the paladins of the workers while factories were closing and the workers ended up in integration?
Oh yeah, too busy defending the flags… not the workers.
The comparison with Sergio Marchionne, who at least told the truth straight to your face, is ruthless.
John Elkann, enough awards and “excellence” pretensions: whoever sells Italy is not a model, it’s a problem.
The only thing you’ve made “excellent” is unemployment and relocation.
Italy deserves respect.
Italian workers deserve the truth, not medals to their perpetrators.
