Today I received confirmation from the Presidency of the Standing Committee on International Trade: a task I have taken on with commitment and a sense of responsibility, for which I want to thank the Fratelli d’Italia Camera Group, the colleagues of the Foreign Affairs Commission and the President Giulio Tremonti who have given me confidence in this role .
Global balances are changing very quickly. Emerging markets in the past represent flourishing economic contexts rich in #opportunity. On this soil we are playing one of the decisive challenges for the future of the #Nation and the Italian #companies in the world.
Italy must be able to grasp these transformations, putting in place a strategy that protects and supports businesses, strengthening #MadeinItaly and defending the #competitiveness of the production system.
We will continue to work together with the colleagues of the Committee, which I thank for their collaboration in this direction. To give concrete tools to businesses, accompany them through this transition and guarantee them the opportunity to establish themselves as the protagonists.
