The passing of Amato Berardi is news that deeply saddens me.
Amato was not only a great entrepreneur, but a shining example of determination and tenacity in bringing the value of our nation beyond Italy’s borders. In his role as a parliamentarian, he dedicatedly protected Italians abroad, always maintaining strong ties with his homeland.
He was a point of reference for the large Italian community in the United States, distinguishing himself for his commitment, listening, and concrete support for every compatriot in difficulty.
