A moment of great institutional value in the presence of our Ambassador, all Consuls General of Italy in the United States and representatives of Com.It E.g., to strengthen the coordination of #SistemaItalia overseas.
In my intervention I urged all Consuls General to put the competent Italian citizen at the centre of their mandate, guaranteeing services that are ever more modern, efficient and close to the real needs of our communities.
I also recalled that economic #diplomacy must be — today more than ever — a fundamental and structural part of Italy’s diplomatic mission, because representing #Italy also means promoting our enterprises, our #excellence and opportunities for mutual #growth.
Only through a united, conscious and proactive consular network, Italy will be able to continue to be a reference point for its citizens and a credible protagonist in international markets.
