Yesterday, at the opening of the exhibition “MOSAICO – Italian Code of a Timeless Art” at the Patricia & Phillip Frost Art Museum, I felt exactly this: the thrill of seeing our history, our art, and our soul taking shape before the eyes of the world.
From Rome to Pompeii, from Ravenna to Monreale, to Baiae and Piazza Armerina, this trip tells centuries of Italian beauty and genius.
An intertwining of matter and light, of art and faith, that continues to inspire the whole world even today.
Thanks to the vision of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, the Consulate General of Italy in Miami, the Italian Institute of Culture and the Patricia & Phillip Frost Art Museum, Italy has brought overseas a fragment of its most authentic soul.
In my entrepreneurial and today institutional life, I have always believed that the real strength of Made in Italy lies in this:
in the ability to transform beauty into value,
tradition in innovation ,
art in national identity.
Because behind every mosaic, as behind every Italian creation, there is a story made of passion, talent and pride.
And this exhibition tells it to the world in the most extraordinary way possible.
