Another fundamental measure for our fellow citizens abroad, a measure that millions of Italians have been waiting for for more than 25 years: the exemption on the IMU tax on first homes.
This is an issue on which the Chamber voted in favor and which underscores the work with concrete results we are carrying out with the Meloni Government. We are on the fourth measure approved:
✅The decree law on the repurchase of citizenship;
✅Increased resources to our diplomatic units;
✅The health card for our Italians abroad outside European borders and registered with AIRE;
✅Today’s measure on the IMU exemption for Italian citizens residing abroad and registered with AIRE.
A strong signal for Italy, winning nationally and internationally, resulting in great results, never achieved before and achieved in just three years. A huge achievement for this Government and for all Italians living outside their country of origin.
