Recent Farnesina inspections have confirmed what I have been reporting since last March: the visa situation in our diplomatic posts is very serious and a crackdown and a new security and control system is needed to prevent organized crime from running a worldwide trafficking of irregular passports, as is happening now. Foreign Minister Tajani, interviewed by Libero, touched on many of the points I had denounced, and the newspaper recalled how my work had made it possible to uncover this shameful human trafficking. I thank the Farnesina for taking prompt action and Gov. Meloni for trusting me and immediately moving to combat this problem.
