New York was the first city in the United States where I lived, a place where the Italian presence is alive and pulsating. For this reason, I was particularly pleased to open with institutional greetings the Republic Day organized at the consulate general in New York, which was attended by over a thousand representatives of the economic, cultural, artistic, research and university world, belonging to our wonderful community and its descendants.
