“Strengthening the Diplomatic Network: A Decisive Step to Unite Italy Inside and Outside the Borders.”

Another point of my election program fulfilled, a promise to our compatriots and businesses abroad fulfilled.
Below is my speech in the House on the bill — voted unanimously — aimed at strengthening diplomatic and consular units, a speech during which I also addressed the issue of the health card to Italians abroad. More services, fast responses and help to our international community. There is another Italy in the world, another 60 million of our fellow countrymen, our ambassadors in the world and excelling in so many fields. We must start thinking in different terms and work towards bringing these two sides together, making our nation stronger.
